Gertie- Available Now!!
Welcome Gertie to Lucky Dog Rescue!! Gertie is an approximately 3 month old black and white Jack Russell/beagle mix weighing about 10 lbs. Gertie and her littermates Ash and Hunter were all found dumped in the country in rural Texas. They were picked up and brought to our rescue partner for vet care and safe keeping. The puppies are now in a loving foster home working on cratetraining and housetraining. They have completed their vet care and are ready for adoption in Wisconsin!! The puppies love playing, wrestling and going outside for potty and playing. The puppies are very relaxed and easy going for their age. Of the 3 puppies Gertie is the most Adventurous puppy who prefers explore her surroundings. She wants to see what this big wide world is all about! Take the bull by the horns says Sturdy Gertie!! She does like to play and rough house with Hunter but when she is tired she likes to lay down in her crate for a snooze. Gertie loves her snuggle time too and will snuggle with her people on the couch, bed or chair. She is an easy going kinda girl! All 3 puppies are very sweet and cuddly. We believe with their mix they will be about 25lbs or less full grown. Gertie’s adoption fee includes all vaccinations (dhlpp x3, rabies, bordetella), deworming, flea/tick prevention, spay at a partner vet at 6 months old, full health exam, health certificate, collar/harness, leash, 6 months of heartworm prevention, and premium puppy food. My Medical History
I am or will be up to date on all necessary vaccinations, including Rabies (for pets over 16 weeks), DHLPP, and Bordetella. I’ve been microchipped (with lifetime registration to the rescue) and have had a full veterinary exam, which includes a health certificate. I have also been tested for Heartworm and three tick-borne diseases. If I’m 6 months or older, I will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If I’m still a puppy, my adoption fee covers the cost of my spay/neuter at a partner vet or reimburses you for the procedure at your vet (at the rate we pay our partner vet).
Additional medical history will be shared prior to adoption.
