Hunter - Available Now!!
Welcome Hunter to Lucky Dog Rescue!! Hunter is an approximately 3 month old black and white Jack Russell/beagle mix weighing about 12 lbs. Hunter and his littermates Ash and Gertie were all found dumped in the country in rural Texas. They were picked up and brought to our rescue partner for vet care and safe keeping. The puppies are now in a loving foster home working on cratetraining and housetraining. They have completed their vet care and are ready for adoption in Wisconsin!! The puppies love playing, wrestling and going outside for potty and playing. The puppies are very relaxed and easy going for their age. Of the 3 puppies Huntet is the Ring Leader puppy who prefers to take charge and be the boss in his surroundings. He wants to see what this big wide world is all about on his terms! I know what I want says Hunter!! He does like to play and rough house with Gertie and his foster brother Taco but when he is tired he likes to lay down in his crate for a snooze sometimes with Gertie or Taco on the floor in the sun. Hunter loves his snuggle time too and will snuggle with his people on the couch, bed or chair. He is an easy going kinda boy! All 3 puppies are very sweet and cuddly. We believe with their mix they will be about 25lbs or less full grown. Hunter’s adoption fee includes all vaccinations (dhlpp x3, rabies, bordetella), deworming, flea/tick prevention, neuter at a partner vet at 6 months old, full health exam, health certificate, collar/harness, leash, 6 months of heartworm prevention, and premium puppy food. All adoptions come with a two week trial in which any animal can be returned for a full refund. At any time the animal needs to be rehomed they must be returned to the rescue!
My Medical History
My Medical History
I am or will be up to date on all necessary vaccinations, including Rabies (for pets over 16 weeks), DHLPP, and Bordetella. I’ve been microchipped (with lifetime registration to the rescue) and have had a full veterinary exam, which includes a health certificate. I have also been tested for Heartworm and three tick-borne diseases. If I’m 6 months or older, I will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If I’m still a puppy, my adoption fee covers the cost of my spay/neuter at a partner vet or reimburses you for the procedure at your vet (at the rate we pay our partner vet).
Additional medical history will be shared prior to adoption.
